Thanks
A big thank you to everyone who attended the 2006 Art Across The Marsh studio tour. I met so many interesting people and had a really fabulous time. Special thanks to Robert Lyon for the encouragement and promotion, and to Pamela Marie Pierce for absolutely everything.

Something else comes back
I recently visited Fort Beausejour with the intent of capturing the sunsets. It seems to be a common occurrance for me that the subject I set out to photograph is not the subject I bring back.
Ducks
The fellow on the left was shy, the fellow on the right was quite the ham. I suppose when you’re a duck, and looking for a small piece of wood to pass time on, opposites attract.
A view from above
This shot was taken at the Yarmouth wharf. This is an example of how I enjoy the way in which the camera frame focuses my attention, creating a microview of the world. It makes me appreciate the sheer volume of visual noise we take in every day.
Lights in the sky
I love this photograph. I find it very visually pleasing.
This photo was made at the Yarmouth wharf.
No commentsRock formations
I was stricken by the way these Lichen grow on the volcanic rock at Cape Forchu. As I have said elsewhere, I see language in shape and these Lichen are living geometry.
No commentsThe Cape
Cape Forchu is comprised almost entirely of volcanic rock. The way these rocks interact with and are effected by their surroundings lends an otherworldly feel to the entire site.
